📌 What is TechSphere?
TechSphere is a mentorship platform proudly made by Vietnamese professionals and made for aspiring Vietnamese professionals.
At TechSphere, we want to make mentoring accessible to every Vietnamese, whether you are students from non-target schools or professionals making a career transitions. Everyone can coach on topics of their interest and seek help from other members of the community.
As a mentee, getting start is really simple.

📜 Before your session
Show up on time, if you are late, inform your mentor in advance
Dress like you will talk to your future colleague
When requesting for an appointment, give your mentor/partner some background information. Some examples:
About yourself; current and past experiences
What kind of mentorship/collaboration are you looking for? Portfolio Review/Career Advice/discussing AI/etc.
What is the primary goal you want to achieve through this appointment?
How can the mentor help you?
Attach any necessary materials for the discussion

🚀 Sample meeting plan
Welcome your mentor with a smile to show your confidence. Ask them about their days, anything interesting happens today
Introduce yourself and your goal for this session
Invite your mentor to introduce themselves
At the end of the meeting, summarize what you learned and action items
Make sure you end on time. Thanks the mentor for their time.
(Optional) If the mentor works at a company you are interested in and if the situation feels natural (both enjoyed the session) feel free to ask for a referral. The worst thing that can happen is your mentor refuses to refer you. Then ask "How can I get there/improve"?
Tell your mentor that you want to keep in touch and if they are comfortable with connecting on LinkedIn/other social media platforms
🎯 After your session
Send a Thank-you Note to mentor within 24 hours after the meeting. [Examples](https://mindmaven.com/blog/how-to-write-a-great-follow-up-email-to-a-meeting/#:~:text=Using sentences like%2C “I really,re thankful%2C that's even better.)
Fill in the 5-minute Post-session survey within 24 hours after the meeting, when the experience is still fresh on your mind
Set a reminder to follow up with your mentor (say that you implemented this from their suggestions, achieve results, etc.) through email or LinkedIn after 2 weeks or a month. Mentors LOVE follow-ups
Note: TechSphere implements a "two-strike" policy for no-show bookings without informing the other party. Anyone on the platform who does not show up for a booked meeting will be suspended (i) for 30 days upon the 1st time and (ii) permanently upon the 2nd time.
